A few more sleeps left.....plus NEW pics

As we continue to prepare ourselves for the biggest journey together, as a couple, I wanted to take a brief minute to post these new pictures we received from Clare. They were taking at a birthday party for Dong Xiu, at Clare's home. As always Clare sent the most amazing email in which I have posted a bit of below along with the pictures.


Paul and I are literally walking on the clouds right now, not quite sure of what to do. We just can't believe that we are finally at this moment, a moment we have been waiting for well over 2 years now. Now that we are preparing for this trip, we go back and forth with different emotions, sometimes fear we've never felt before but mostly peace. One of the things that has always kept Paul and I together, is the fact that we have experienced so much together, so much joy and so much heartache. When I think back to how we started out dating long distance for a year and a half from Canada to the US, to getting our wonder pug Jack, to both of us finishing school while working full time, to building our careers and getting good jobs, to back surgeries and kidney stones, to getting married (finally), to buying our first home and starting to fix it up, to our heart breaking pregnancies, to Bobo, and to now, what I believe to be the most amazing part of our journey together. Quite amazing indeed.

this was ShaSha's first trip to our house and when I was taking them
home she turned to me and whispered, "When it is my birthday can I
come to your house to celebrate?" I told her we would have to wait and
see - at that time we knew that Lis would be leaving at the end of
this year and we had heard a rumour that enquiries had been made about
adopting, it is so great how G*d has weaved it all together and had a
better plan than she could think or imagine!"
