Article 5-FINALLY
We finally got our Article 5 today which by far seem to take the longest since China was closed last week. Hopefully we will have our TA in about a week which is huge because then ICC will tell our sunshine that we are coming for her. Sooooooooo exciting. Stay tuned and continue to keep our Sha Sha in your thoughts and prayers.

ReplyDeleteThat's great news! I wonder why they haven't told her yet, though? June was told when we had LOA and we were then able to send packages to her - if you have the opportunity to send her some photos of you, the house, etc., that might be a great way for her to connect before you travel. Can't wait to hear that you are ready to go!

ReplyDeleteWe did send a care package and photos of the house, school, etc.:) Thier reasoning was they felt it would be better to tell her once we got closer to traveling so the wait wouldn't appear so long for her. I think they were also being cautious just because she was transitioning from her foster family at the time of LOA back to the orphanage and they didn't want to add another change to her right then and there. We had loads of fun putting that care package together:):)
Congrats! What a relief! I am still hoping and praying that we will intersect in Guangzhou! :)
